Mr. Eugene "HONEY BEE'' Barden of Whiteville, NC passed on Friday, March 08, 2019 at Columbus Regional Healthcare Systems, Whiteville, NC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11 am in the Union Funeral Home Chapel, 571 W. S. Railroad, Street, Clarkton, NC 28433. Evangelist Mary Hawkins, eulogist, burial will follow in the Brand Cemetery, Orrum. NC. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 1 till 6, and on Saturday prior to the services. He is survived by his daughter, Detra Mullins, grandchildren, Demya and Gabrielle Powell, sisters, Annie Ruth Barden, Doretha Tann, Inez Berry, Hattie Tart, Edith Barden, one brother, Cleveland Barden, one aunt, Viola Barden, and a host of relatives and friends.
