Mr. Mertic Daniels 71, passed on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Healthcare, Wilmington, NC.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 1 pm, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Longwood, NC.  Pastor M. C. Herring.  Viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Daniels is survived by his wife of the home, Neicy Daniels, daughters , Courtney Daniels, Andrea Daniels, brothers, Willis Daniels, Melvin Daniels. Mary Daniels Gore.  Aunts, Callie Crawford, Gertha Lee Claridy and Bessie Daniels.  In-law, King Soloman, Shirley Woodard, Willie Mae Stanley, Albert Rodgers, Terri Haines and Dale Rodgers.  Grand children, Amare Sanders, Kennedy Sanders, and Emory Tillman.
