Eddie Ray Callahan

Mr. Eddie Ray (Porky)  Callahan 67, passed on August 22, 2022 at Atrium Health Union, Monroe, NC 28112. He was the son of the late Vance and Bert Callahan. A memorial service will be held on September 23, 2022 at 6:30 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Preacher Charlie Tatum and Minister Billy Ward will give words of comfort. He is survived by one daughter, Tracey Burchfield and  a step son, Thomas Furtrell, one sister Betty Ann Davis, one brother, Terry Callahan.  Grandchildren; Emsleigh Nevaeh Burchfield and Britton Blaine Christian, three siblings preceded him in death, Vance Callaahan , Janice Hyatt and Jackie Smith.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Mr. Callahan loved his Pepsi and enjoyed watching old Westerns, and LOVED talking about his memories from "back in the day" .  He could often be found at the ball field with his grandson.
