Obituary
Reverend Eddie L. Swindell passed on August 07, 2023 due to an auto accident. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023 at 12 noon in the Union Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will be held from 11 till 12. No viewing afterwards. Burial will follow in the Clarkton Community Cemetery, Clarkton, NC 28433. Rev. Joyce A. McLaughlen, eulogist. He is survived by his wife, Shirleen O. Swindell and three children, Lawrence K. Swindell, Travella Swindell and Varkatuel Hambrick. A host of sisters and brothers and other relatives and friends.
