Mrs. Ruthie Mae Godwin Lawhorn passed on July 19, 2020 at Liberty Commons, Whiteville, NC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11 am. Reverend Kenneth McKoy, eulogist, burial will follow in the Hallsboro Cemetery, Hallsboro, NC. Viewing will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020, from 1 till 6 at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Edward Lawhorn, three sons, Edward Jr., Timothy and David, daughter, Christina McLean, sister, Debra McKoy, three brothers, James Godwin, Kenneth McKoy and Wilfred McKoy, one aunt, Lena Johnson. Funeral services are being held in the funeral home chapel at 11 am.
