Funeral services will be on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Viewing and visitation will be held from 1 til 6 on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Burial will follow in the Brooklyn Cemetery. He is survived by three sons Willie Alexander Covington of Fairmont NC, Patrick and Yukon Covington of Baltimore, and Derrick Covington of Riegelwood NC. Four sisters Linda Lee ( husband) of Fort Lauderdale FL, Esther Lee Covington of Bladenboro NC, Esthermae Cobbs White of Baltimore MD, Thomasina Pridgen (husband) of Elizabethtown NC, Two brothers Melvin Covington of Bladenboro NC, Kevin Covington of Baltimore MD, and a special person Ernestine Smith Blanks.
